Delivery

Please note that each piece of jewellery is handmade. I don’t hold a huge amount of items in stock therefore most items are made to order. Most are ready to be shipped within 2-4 weeks. However some items take longer depending on demand therefore please allow up to 4-6 weeks for delivery after receipt of payment.

If an item is required for a specific date please contact me before placing your order and I will advise as to whether this is possible.

Items that are in stock will be shipped after payment is received (usually same day). Shop will specify if an item is in stock and ready to ship.

Items will be sent by Royal Mail special delivery as in the event that they get damaged or lost in transit they are insured. Postage is £6.50, which is guarenteed next day before 1pm in the UK and tracked.

International orders may incur custom charges and cost £12. Please note I cannot mark parcels as gifts.

Returns (online Shop)

Returns for online shop orders will only be accepted if goods are faulty and within 28 days of receipt. Please contact me by email info@metalliumjewellery.co.uk

Note: Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygiene reasons.

Customization of shop items

If you see something in our online shop but would like to customise it for instance you would like a specific stone, a differnt style of chain, an inscription etc please contact us directly to place your order at info@metalliumjewellery.co.uk

Hallmarking

All items are hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office which guarantees the quality of metal you are buying as well as bearing my makers mark.

Commissions

Commissions are completely unique to you and are not replicated unless the person commissioning it asks us to.
The design process is free and there is no obligation to follow through with the commission. However, designs remain the property of Metallium Jewellery and designs created by us can't be made by another jeweller.

You will recieve 4 different design ideas with varying price points. If you have a budget please make Karen aware of this during the initial contact.

A 50% deposit is required to secure a commission and then the remainder of the balance is due once the piece is completed and ready to be sent out.
You are welcome to pay a piece up but please note that you will not recieve the piece until full payment has been recieved.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, Paypal, or by debit or credit card

Ring sizes

Please note I use British Ring Sizing Scale which is alphabetical. Many other countries have their own ring sizing scale therefore when ordering please make sure ring size is converted into a British ring size.

If you do not know your ring size the best thing to do is to go to a jeweller and get sized properly. Alternatively I can send out a small plastic ring sizer at a small charge. For more details please email info@metalliumjewellery.co.uk

Re-modelling

Please note with re-modelling (melting down of old jewellery) your old jewellery needs to be melted down and made into sheet or wire form before reworking the design. This process has a £60 charge. Also depending on how much old jewellery you supply sometimes metal needs to be added. You will be advised of this during the design process.

If you have signed up to our newsletter then you are concenting to receive every now and then information regarding new, discounts and jewellery workshops. We will never SPAM you.

Information such as emails, addresses and payment transfers are only used for communication relating to your order/ commission or for transactions relating to your order/commission. A record of the transaction is only kept for tax purposes for as long as legally required.

When purchasing from our online shop, transactions are carried out through a secure server via PayPal.
